No. Only one teacher will be selected for this training and it will be led more “mentorship” style, by assisting with, observing, and taking classes as a part of your certification.
It will be led part-time around your work schedule and the 25 hours will be dispersed accordingly.
Not included is:
- Opening sound bath ceremony
- A Business branding workshop
- Group SUP tour
Yes. This training will incorporate four sections, instead of five, by not including a Business section. Due to the excessive legal regulations here in Hawaii, it’s irrelevant to focus on the business aspect of the industry as a Hawaii resident. However, these hours will be replaced with hands-on mentorship opportunities to focus more so on fine tuning your teaching style, class structure, and sequencing.
You can choose to either complete this training at a 40% discount of $600 and can be paid in two installments, or you can teach 25 hours worth of classes for Island Paddle Bliss post-training as an exchange. If choosing the latter, you will receive your accreditation and certification with Yoga Alliance after your class hours have been met.
Upon successful completion:
- You’ll receive a 25hr SUP Yoga certification accredited through Yoga Alliance
- Be able to teach for other SUP Yoga businesses
- Receive teaching, subbing, management, and social media opportunities for Island Paddle Bliss
- Flexible scheduling
